DEFG's practice includes two research consortia and several targeted study efforts. The Demand and Energy Technology (DETech) Research Consortium addresses the needs of utilities for information related to the alternative energy sector. The Customer Care Research Consortium (CCRC) addresses the relationship with the customer, including studies of the best practices of our clients and how to improve the services provided to customers.
In addition to proprietary energy consulting engagements, DEFG offers a number of opportunities for collaborative research on energy technology through its multi-client study series.

The Customer Care Research Consortium (CCRC) addresses the customer relationship through a blue ribbon panel of industry leading customer care executives who come together to discuss and define industry best practices and conduct research. CCRC products are focused on customer service, the customer experience and associated regulatory practices.
