Nominate a Company
The DESI Index Committee is an independent blue-ribbon committee, chaired by DEFG, and consisting of DEFG and industry members. Each quarter, the Index Committee reviews all existing DESI and nominated companies. The Committee has a minimum of six members (including DEFG), whose knowledge covers the six DESI segments. The DESI portfolio of companies can be revised once each year.
Companies can be nominated for consideration by the Index Committee using the DESI Nomination Form (see below). Nominated companies and those identified by Index Committee members are researched by DEFG. Qualified companies are recommended to the Index Committee , and the supporting information is reviewed during each quarterly meeting of the Index Committee.
Changes to the composition of the DESI portfolio, if any, are made during the Index Committee's 4th quarter review. Successful companies must receive at least a two-third vote of the Index Committee. If necessary, the Index Committee selects an existing DESI company to be removed from the DESI, also by at least a two-third vote of the Committee. Companies are also added to replace companies that no longer mee the criteria set forth in the DESI Rule Book.
To nominate a company for the DESI, please enter the required information (designated by an asterisk) in the form below. DEFG respects your privacy. For more information, please read our
