DEFG's managing partners have testified in regulatory proceedings in four states (expert testimony on behalf of utility clients); worked for a state utility commissions for 14 years (epxert testimony in the public interest); represented technology manufacturers in state hearings on environmental regulation and access to regulated networks; and managed multi-client studies on important regulatory and policy issues.
DEFG's current emphasis is on services that are possible with the development of the smart grid. We consider pricing options, resource adequacy, demand response, energy efficiency, and value-added consumer products and services. Ongoing actvities include:
